Sportsbook technology provider Altenar has officially entered the regulated Philippine sports betting market through a new partnership with ArenaPlus, the sportsbook platform operated by DigiPlus Interactive Corp..
Under the agreement, ArenaPlus will transition its sportsbook operations to Altenar’s fully managed sportsbook platform, allowing the brand to further enhance its betting services through advanced technology, localized features, and expanded live betting capabilities.
As part of the partnership, Altenar will provide betting content, automated pricing tools, risk management systems, and compliance solutions tailored specifically for the Philippine market. ArenaPlus, which operates under the regulation of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, is expected to strengthen its live and in-play betting offerings through the upgraded platform.
The sportsbook solution will also feature customized betting options and mobile-first functionality designed to match the preferences of Filipino users, who primarily access sports betting platforms through smartphones and digital devices.
Altenar noted that its in-house statistical models will help improve wagering experiences for local sports fans, particularly for Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) games, by delivering faster odds updates and more dynamic betting markets.
“Partnering with DigiPlus to power ArenaPlus marks an important milestone in our expansion into the Philippines, which is one of the most engaged and rapidly growing regulated markets in Asia,” said Dinos Stranomitis, Chief Operating Officer of Altenar.
“Our fully managed and localized sportsbook platform is built to deliver the stability, performance, and compliance standards required in this market,” he added.
Meanwhile, ArenaPlus Head Erick Su said the partnership supports the company’s long-term growth strategy as demand for live sports betting continues to rise in the country.
“Altenar’s fully managed sportsbook technology aligns with our vision for continued growth in the Philippines, especially with the increasing popularity of live and in-play betting among Filipino sports fans,” Su said.
“With Altenar’s platform in place, we look forward to further improving the player experience while building a strong and sustainable partnership for the future,” he added.
The latest development comes shortly after ArenaPlus announced a multiyear collaboration with the National Basketball Association, becoming the league’s first official betting partner in the Philippines.
